How to Get Rid of Dull, Dry Skin After Summer

Spending time laying out by the swimming pool or vacationing at the beach are two of the ways that most people like to relax during the summer. And although a little bit of sun isn’t going to cause too much harm, too much of it may lead to premature wrinkles, fine lines, and dull, dry skin. Exfoliate

If you don’t exfoliate at least once a week, then you should add this step into your skincare routine. Exfoliating every two to three days is one of the best ways for you to get rid of dry, dead skin all-around your face; especially on your nose, forehead, and cheeks. When choosing an exfoliating scrub, choose something that is abrasive enough to get off dead skin but not so abrasive that it makes your skin feel raw afterward.

Laser Skin Rejuvenation

One of our favorite noninvasive treatments that we offer patients is laser resurfacing. Laser resurfacing is used for a variety of different skin concerns, including dullness. By targeting the top few layers of the skin, a laser will encourage the growth of new skin, which causes the existing top layers to slough off.
