Liposculpture/Liposuction (Body Contouring)

Dr. Weinstein has performed thousands of body contouring procedures. The safest and most predictable method used for body contouring is Liposculpture. Dr. Weinstein will be able to remove any unwanted body contours from fatty deposits with his skilled hands. Coolsculpting, unpredictable. Dr. Weinstein suffered a paradoxical increase in fatty tissue after Coolsculpting treatment. Consequently, he cannot recommend Coolsculpting.


Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)

Hand surgery seeks to improve the appearance and function of the hand. Dr. Weinstein has extensive experience with nerve repair, nerve regeneration research, tendon repair, soft tissue traumatic defects of the fingers or hand and hand rejuvenation.

Tissue Expansion

For some surgical procedures, tissue expansion is required since extra skin may be needed. Dr Weinstein has done extensive research on tissue expansion for huge defects of the chest or abdomen and small defects of the hand or foot. An expander can be used to elongate a vessel, nerve or skin to reconstruct with normal skin an unsightly defect.

This is done by placing an expanding silicone balloon underneath the skin of the patient and then filling it gradually. The skin then replicates around the balloon which creates additional skin to replace the unsightly unwanted skin secondary to burns, congenital tumors or other deformities.

Burn Care

Scars and injury from burns have a long lasting effect. There are a variety of procedures to help improve the life of burn victims. To replace burned flesh, skin grafting and tissue expansion are used. Skin grafting takes non-damaged skin and moves it onto the burned open wounded skin. New skin can also be also be grown with the use of Tissue Expansion to replace unsightly scars or reconstruct lost body parts.


Lacerations can cause irregular wounds that are unsightly. They can leave behind visible scars. Dr. Weinstein can use many methods to reduce the effects of these scars and create a natural appearance. His has extensive experience with bombing victims and other serious injuries in restoring a more normal appearance.


Abrasions are superficial wounds, or wounds on the outer layer of the skin. Depending on how severe they are, they may cause prominent scarring. To lessen the appearance of these scars, Dr. Weinstein uses wound care, skin grafts or tissue expansion to help your skin look normal again.
