Push Present Galore: The Perks of a Mommy Makeover
Ten to twenty years ago, the only thing that a women would get for giving birth to a baby was the gratification that they gave someone new life. However, with more and more pressure from society and other soon-to-be mommies, came the concept of a push present. What is a push present exactly? A push present is a gift that the husband or significant other gives the mother of their child in order to show gratitude for giving birth to their child. With things like fine jewelry and lavish beach vacations topping the list, it can be hard to know just what to give your baby mama as a push present. If you’ve been racking your brain trying to decide what to give her, why not consider a mommy makeover? Read on to learn more about mommy makeovers.
Get Her Body Back
Although pregnancy and motherhood are a privilege and a joy for women, these joys can also wreak havoc on a woman’s body. As part of a mommy makeover, you can help give her her body back through either a tummy tuck, breast augmentation surgery, liposuction, or a combination of all three. And in order to not sound insensitive about the whole subject matter, be sure to let her know that you love her the way that she is but know that she’s happier when she is her best physcial self.
Depending on whether your significant other delivered your baby vaginally or via c-section will help your plastic surgeon decide how long she needs to wait until she goes under the knife. Also, your plastic surgeon will have to take into consideration things like breastfeeding. If your doctor recommends that she wait a few months before getting surgery, make sure to reassure her and let her know that she will have her body back fairly shortly.

Male Breast Reduction Surgery
When the thought of plastic surgery comes to mind, most people associate it with women— breast implants, nose jobs, and Botox. However, although not as common as women undergoing plastic surgery, men can still undergo many forms of plastic surgery, including but not limited to, male breast reduction surgery.
What Is Male Breast Reduction Surgery?
Similar to female breast reduction surgery, male breast reduction surgery is the surgical process of removing excess fat and breast tissue around the breast area in order to give men a more chiseled and flat appearance. During this procedure, patients will be under anesthesia the entire time and so they will not feel a thing. However, during the recovery process, the patient will likely be required to wear either some form of compression sleeve around their breast region or a thick gauze bandage. During recovery, patients will also be prohibited from excercise, any sort of heavy lifting or activities that may cause strain on their breast region.
Why Breast Reduction Surgery for Men?
Although not recognized by many as common, a large population of men suffer from oversized breasts that they just can’t get rid of. Either attributed to sudden weight gain/weight loss, or the use of male enhancement supplements for weight training, many males suffer from overly large breasts which cause them to feel ashamed and embarrassed.
Will there be scarring?
Male breast reduction surgery is nothing to be ashamed of. And although the thought of friends and significant others learning about this surgery might be a bit embarrassing, you won’t have to divulge it to them unless you want. Due to the location of the surgical incisions— typically under the armpit— scarring is very minimal and hard to spot even with your shirt off.
