How to Tighten Up Your Tush
With the holidays long behind us and the summer months quickly creeping up on us, it can seem overwhelming to think about getting into a bikini. Have you recently caught a glance of your tush in the mirror and noticed that it’s a bit saggier and jiggly than you’d care to admit? Luckily, you still have a few more months until you have to get into a swimsuit, so you still have time to tighten up your tush. From working out to getting liposuction, this article will discuss a few different ways that you can get a behind that will have all of your friends feeling jealous. Read on to learn more.
Work It Out
One of the best ways that you can tighten your tush is to do exercises to target those muscles. In addition to doing cardio— which will help you lose weight— make sure that you are doing plenty of squats, weighted squats, lunges, leg extensions, and leg presses. If you aren’t sure if you are doing any of these exercises correctly, ask for some instruction from a team member at your local gym— the last thing you want to do is pull a muscle or strain anything.
Eat Correctly
Unfortunately, if you want to get a tighter tush before summer, you are going to have to put down those cookies, soda, and hamburgers, and try eating lean proteins and more veggies. The leaner your diet is, the leaner your physique will be. And, as one of the first parts of your body where you will lose weight, your tush will certainly look slimmer before you know it.
Consider Liposuction
In addition to working out and eating correctly, you may want to consider getting liposuction from Dr. Larry Weinstein. By surgically removing the fat from your tush, you will get results that you otherwise wouldn’t have with just diet and exercise alone. And, because it’s still springtime, you will have plenty of time to recover from surgery before you hit the pool or beach.
It can make you feel a lot of unnecessary pressure to think about having to get into a bikini in just a few months. However, by using a combination of exercise, diet, and liposuction, you can get a tighter tush than ever before. To learn more about liposuction or any of our other procedures, contact our office today to schedule a consultation with Dr. Larry Weinstein.

3 Ways to Prepare for Tissue Expansion Surgery
Depending on the size of your body and the cosmetic surgical procedure you would like to have done, you may not have enough skin to cover the area. For instance, if you are petite and would like to get a breast augmentation, you may not have enough skin to cover the implants. Luckily, with a procedure called tissue expansion, Dr. Larry Weinstein can expand your skin so that it properly covers and protects the surgical site. To help you prepare for this surgery, we have created a brief guide with three easy tips. Read on to learn more.
- Stop Smoking
Before you undergo surgery from Dr. Larry Weinstein, you should stop smoking at least two weeks before your surgery. Smoking decreases your body’s ability to heal after surgery which puts you at an increased risk of complications. If you need help quitting smoking, contact a local hotline or reach out to our staff for additional support.
- Avoid Blood Thinners
If you are on any blood thinning medication, make sure to notify Dr. Weinstein in your initial consultation. Blood thinners can make the surgical process a lot more complicated and can increase your recovery time. If you take medications like Ibuprofen or aspirin on a regular basis, you will be instructed to stop taking it for at least a few weeks before surgery.
- Get a Ride Home
Typically, Dr. Larry Weinstein can start the tissue expansion project at the same time as your breast augmentation surgery. However, because these are two fairly invasive surgeries, you will be under anesthesia which means that you won’t be able to drive home. Before you come in for surgery, make sure that you schedule a ride home from either a friend or family member. If you don’t have anyone to pick you up, let us know beforehand, and we can arrange for a taxi service.
Before you get a tissue expansion surgery, make sure that you stop smoking and taking blood thinners, and that you arrange for a ride home after surgery. To learn more about this surgery and more, contact Dr. Larry Weinstein’s office today!
