Why It’s Never Too Late to Get More Youthful Skin with Fillers
If you suffer from fine lines, wrinkles, and a loss of volume in your skin and you want to get back a more youthful look, you may be wondering if it’s too late to do so. Here at Dr. Larry Weinstein’s office, he believes that it’s never too late to feel confident about the skin that you are in. Let’s take a closer look at a few reasons why it’s not too late for you to try facial fillers.
There’s No Need to Wait
One of the biggest things to know about these anti-aging fillers is that there’s no need to wait. Unless you have some allergic reaction to fillers or if you have health issues, there is no better time than now to jump on this bandwagon. In just minutes, Dr. Weinstein will be able to give you a more youthful look.
Fillers Are Affordable
Compared to surgical treatments, facial fillers like Juvéderm, Restylane, and Radiesse are way more affordable. Even though they are temporary and will have to be redone, they last up to a year on average which means that you will only have to pay that amount every year which isn’t that much if you think about it in those terms.
They Can Be Used at Almost Any Age
Whether you are in your twenties or you’re in your sixties, we can use facial fillers to treat a variety of cosmetic concerns. So, if you think you’re too young or if you feel like you’re getting too old for one of these treatments, think again.
Rather than spending the rest of your life wishing for younger skin, let Dr. Weinstein give you results now. To learn more about facial fillers or to schedule your facial filler consultation, contact us at our Chester office and call us today at 908-879-2222.

3 Things You Never Knew About Fillers
Before Kylie Jenner came out in public sporting a new set of lips, you may not have been that familiar with lip fillers. As one of the most popular non- invasive procedures out there, fillers can be used for a variety of different things including adding volume to your lips and cheeks and helping soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. However, unless you’ve had fillers, you may not know much about them. Let’s take a closer look at three things you may not know about fillers.
Location Changes As You Age
As you age, your skin starts to lose collagen and elastin which can lead to sagginess, fine lines, and wrinkles. When this happens, Dr. Larry Weinstein will have to be a little more strategic when injecting fillers into your skin to really help both fill in fine lines and wrinkles and add more volume to certain parts of the skin. So, even though he can inject most 20-year-olds one way, if you are in your 50’s, he will have to use a few different techniques to help give you the best results.
Everybody Is Different
Just like with any procedure that Dr. Larry Weinstein does, it’s important to remember that everybody is different. And because everybody is different, that means that the type of filler we use on you, may not be good to use on your friend. It also means that everyone will get slightly different results including how long your fillers last for; for some patients, their fillers will last an entire year whereas others will need to have touch ups done a lot sooner.
They’re Not the Same As Botox
One thing that you may be surprised to learn is that Botox is not a filler, but it’s an injectable. Fillers work to actually fill in fine lines and wrinkles, whereas Botox works on a deeper level to stop your facial muscles from contracting which helps to soften them in the process.
Now that you know a little bit more about fillers, it’s time to schedule your consultation with Dr. Larry Weinstein at our Chester office today. Call us at 908-879-2222.

Is a Liquid Facelift Actually Worth It?
When you start to notice signs of aging like fine lines, wrinkles, and a loss of collagen and volume in your skin, it can seem like it’s all you think about. And although there are small fixes that we can make, you may want to consider a liquid facelift. But because liquid facelifts are temporary, it has a lot of people wondering if they’re worth it. Let’s take a closer look.
It Doesn’t Require Surgery
A lot of patients choose to undergo a liquid facelift instead of a traditional one because it doesn’t require any surgery or downtime. And, if you live a busy life and have a full schedule, the last thing you have time to do is lay in bed for a couple of weeks. With a liquid facelift, you can come into our office on your lunch break and then go right back to work.
It Works
If it’s results you are looking for, then you can get them with a liquid facelift. Depending on how severe your fine lines and wrinkles are will help us determine just how good of results you will get. But, Dr. Larry Weinstein will ensure that you get the best results possible. Even if it means that you have to come back in for a few touch-ups.
It’s Affordable
Although Botox and fillers aren’t exactly cheap, they are a lot more affordable than a surgical facelift. Plus, depending on how much you get and what types of fillers you get, a liquid facelift can last the upwards of a year which means that you don’t have to spend too much money very often.
Having a more youthful looking complexion doesn’t always require surgery. If you want to learn more about a liquid facelift and whether or not it’s right for you, schedule a consultation with Dr. Larry Weinstein at our Chester office today and call us at 908-879-2222.

Let’s Fill You In On Fillers
When it comes to the world of injections, all of them are created equal, right? Luckily for you, that’s not the case. In fact, there are two main types of injections that we offer here at Dr. Larry Weinstein’s office: neurotoxins (Botox and Dysport) and fillers. Neurotoxins work by temporarily relaxing your facial muscles whereas fillers work by temporarily filling in fine lines and wrinkles. Let’s take a closer look at the three types of fillers that we offer at our office and what they are best used for.
Juvederm, Belotero, and Voluma
These three fillers are made from a substance called hyaluronic acid which is a naturally occurring substance found in the skin. As you age, however, your body produces less hyaluronic acid which contributes to fine lines, wrinkles, and a loss of volume in your skin. With Juvederm, Belotero, and Voluma injections, however, we can help fill in fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth to help reduce wrinkles and soften deep folds. Additionally, Juvederm and Belotero can be used to help add more volume and contour to the lips.
Restylane
Restylane is also made from hyaluronic acid but is mostly used to add more volume to the face— specifically the cheeks. It can also be used, however, to treat fine lines and wrinkles as well.
Radiesse
Unlike the fillers that we have already discussed in this article, Radiesse isn’t made of hyaluronic acid. In fact, it’s made of Calcium Hydroxylapatite. Once it is injected into the skin, it helps restore volume and decrease fine lines and wrinkles. After it has worn off, Radiesse encourages your skin’s natural production of collagen so that it lasts a little longer.
All of these fillers that we offer at our office are a great and temporary way to soften fine lines and wrinkles and add more volume to your face. If you are interested in learning more about dermal fillers, schedule a consultation with Dr. Larry Weinstein at our Chester office today and call: 908-879-2222.

Get a Liquid Facelift In Time for the Holidays!
Fine lines and wrinkles may be indicative of the places you’ve been and the things you’ve seen (mainly the sun), but they can also make you feel self-conscious and like you never want to have your picture taken— let alone have it plastered on your holiday family card. Luckily, Dr. Larry Weinstein has a variety of options— both surgical and non-invasive— that can work to correct these facial concerns and get you camera ready in no time. However, because the holidays are just around the corner, non-invasive options like a liquid facelift may be the best way to go.
If there’s one thing that Juvederm, Belotero, Radiesse, and Voluma all have in common, it’s that they’re all dermal fillers. Each one of these fillers has pros and cons to them. For instance, Belotero can be applied in just a few minutes, but it only lasts for a couple of months. Whereas, Juvederm and Radiesse take a little longer to apply but last the upwards of 6 to 15 months depending on the patient. During a liquid facelift, Dr. Larry Weinstein will strategically inject facial fillers across your face to help temporarily soften fine lines and wrinkles, add more volume to your skin, and give you an overall more youthful appearance.
During your initial consultation with Dr. Larry Weinstein, he will determine whether or not dermal fillers are the right option for you. Depending on your skin and the areas of concerns that you would like to target, Dr. Larry Weinstein will comprise a plan that is catered to your skin and your skin’s specific needs.
Don’t let your skin prevent you from taking a family holiday photo this year! Let this year be the year where you’ve felt the most confident with a liquid facelift from Dr. Larry Weinstein. Schedule your consultation at our Chester office today!

How to Combat Signs of Aging With Radiesse
Although you make wake up one day, look in the mirror, and notice more fine lines and wrinkles than you care to admit, aging doesn’t just happen overnight. Aging skin is a combination of factors including environmental factors, loss of facial volume, loss of elasticity, and repetitive muscle usage. When we expose our skin to the sun and other harmful factors every day, it will certainly show for it— that’s where fillers like Radiesse come into play.
What Is Radiesse?
Dr. Larry Weinstein has been using Radiesse to help cosmetically treat patients for more than 25 years— meaning that he’s practically a Radiesse expert. As a volumizing filler, Radiesse can be used on various parts of the face and body including the chin, hands, cheeks, around the mouth, and the jowls.
How Does It Differ from Other Fillers?
One common thread that Radiesse and other fillers share is that they are all dermal fillers that are designed to give patients temporary relief from fine lines and wrinkles.
One of the main distinctions between Radiesse and popular fillers like Juvederm and Restylane is that they are comprised different ingredients. For instance, Restylane and Juvederm are made of an ingredient called hyaluronic acid. Radiesse, however, is made up of Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres.
Rather than simply filling in the skin, Radiesse works a bit differently than other fillers. Once it has been injected into your skin, calcium hydroxyapatite microspheres give patients immediate volume and encourage the natural stimulation of collagen in the skin. After the microspheres have metabolized over time, they leave behind only your natural collagen.
Does It Hurt?
If you are worried about experiencing pain during your injections, Radiesse has been approved by the FDA to be mixed with pain relievers like lidocaine to help lessen the pain.
Why Is It Popular?
Radiesse is popular for a variety of reasons including the immediacy of how fast it works, its versatility to treat both the face and body and its ability to last the upwards of a year or more.

Hand Me Downs: How to Take Better Care of Your Hands
If you grew up in a large family or one without a lot of financial freedom, you were likely dealt your fair share of hand me downs; from soccer cleats to pajamas. However, as an adult, the only hand me downs you now have to worry about are your genetics and your literal hands. From adding more volume to them to get rid of sunspots, this article will discuss a few ways you can take better care of your hands. Read on to learn more.
Add More Volume
Radiesse isn’t just a filler used to restore volume to your face. In fact, Dr. Larry Weinstein can use it to add volume to your hands. As you age, you start to lose collagen and fat on your hands which make them look older and more worn down than they are. With Radiesse, however, Dr. Larry Weinstein can temporarily give you back the volume in your hands.
Wear Sunscreen
You know that you should never head to the pool or beach without slathering on a thick layer of sunscreen, but did you know that you should be wearing sunscreen on your hands every day? If you think about it, your hand are constantly exposed to the sun— even when you’re doing things like driving or walking to your car. Try to get into the habit of applying a thin layer of sunscreen on your hands after you wash them.
Get Rid of Sunspots
If you have dark spots on your hands, those are sunspots which are as the name indicates caused from too much exposure to the sun. Luckily, with laser therapy, we can target the pigment in your sunspots and help you get rid of them in the process.
Take better care of your hands with the treatments listed above. If you would like to learn more about how you can take better care of the skin on your hands, contact Dr. Larry Weinstein to schedule a consultation today!

3 Juvederm Myths
You fill up your car, you fill up your water bottle, you fill your plate full of food, and you can even fill in your fine lines and wrinkles around your face. As one of the most popular dermal fillers on the market, Juvederm is used to treat fine lines and wrinkles on your face and in your lips. However, just like with anything that you are putting into your body, it’s nice to know fact from fiction. This article will discuss three common myths associated with Juvederm to help you feel more informed. Read on to learn more.
- It Takes a While to Recover
One of the things that Dr. Larry Weinstein can say for sure about Juvederm is that as long as you aren’t having any adverse reaction to it, you shouldn’t have any recovery time. In fact, although your skin may be a little inflamed in some areas for a day or two, everything else should be as good as new.
- It Can Be Used Around Your Whole Face
A common misconception that people have is that dermal fillers like Juvederm and injectables like Botox can be used to your entire face. However, that’s not the case. In fact, Juvederm is only approved to help fill in fine lines and wrinkles from the nose down— including your lips, nasolabial folds, and cheeks. Additionally, Botox is only approved to treat the fine lines and wrinkles on your forehead and around your eyes.
- It’s Harmful
If you are on an organic kick just like everyone else in the country, you are rightfully concerned about what you’re putting into your body and any harm that it can cause. However, Juvederm is a filler that is made up of an ingredient that is found naturally in our bodies: hyaluronic acid. So unlike other treatments that involve silicone, with Juvederm, you know that you are getting a natural treatment 100% of the time.
Now that you are aware of some of the myths associated with Juvederm, you can feel more informed before you get injections. To learn more about Juvederm and other fillers that we offer, or to schedule a consultation with Dr. Larry Weinstein, contact our office today!

The R’s of the Filler World: Restylane Vs. Radiesse
When it comes to dermal fillers, there are a variety of different options for you to choose from. Derived from the same concept of filling in the fine lines and wrinkles on your face, however, what is the difference between fillers? As two of the most popular fillers that Dr. Larry Weinstein offers, both Restylane and Radiesse provide unique benefits to help you look and feel younger. Read on to learn more.
Restylane
As a substance that is naturally found in the body, hyaluronic acid is something that is replicated in dermal fillers such as Restylane. By adding collagen and elasticity to your skin, hyaluronic acid is something that fades as you age. Luckily, with dermal fillers like Restylane, you can help to give your body back its collagen and elasticity to give you a more youthful-looking glow. By injecting Restylane directly into the fine lines and wrinkles around your mouth and nose, you can get rid of smile lines and help restore elasticity to your face.
Radiesse
Composed of calcium hydroxylapatite, Radiesse is a filler that is injected below the surface of the skin. By adding immediate volume to your skin, you can leave Dr. Weinstein’s office with results that are worth showing off to your friends and family. Radiesse is primarily used to treat nasolabial folds and fill in the cheeks and around the mouth. As one of the best benefits of all, Radiesse can last a year or longer depending on the patient and their skin type.
The great thing about both Restylane and Radiesse is that they are both FDA approved— meaning that you have nothing to worry about in regards to your health and safety. And, as two fillers that are each unique and useful in their ways, you can rest assured that you are going to get the best results possible. If you would like to schedule an appointment to get one of these fillers or if you would simply like to learn more, contact Dr. Larry Weinstein today!

Not Just For Women: The Benefits of Facial Fillers for Men
Stereotypically, when you think of dermal fillers you typically think of a middle aged woman getting the wrinkles on her face filled in and maybe even her lips being plumped up. And although this might be an accurate assumption most of the time, fillers like Juvederm and Restylane are also gaining popularity among men— but why? From helping to restore youth to aiding in self esteem, this article will discuss a few of the reasons men are flocking to Larry Weinstein in order to get fillers.
Restore Youthfulness
Unless you sport a full, heavy beard all year round, you will start to notice wrinkles developing around your mouth and even on your chin. And although aging itself can be considered to be a beautiful process, these signs of aging can be a bit more frustrating than anything. Not only can chin wrinkles make things like shaving to be a bit more difficult, they can age you in a way that you aren’t quite ready to accept. Luckily, by getting either Restylane or Juvederm injections from Dr. Larry Weinstein, you can help to restore your youthful glow and leave the hassle of shaving behind.
Aid in Self-Esteem
Just like women, men suffer from self-esteem issues as well. And although men aren’t as open about their self esteem, it doesn’t mean that issues aren’t there. If you are a male who is having a hard time accepting the aging process and are noticing that your self-esteem isn’t as high as it once was before yous tarted to show physical signs of aging, then you may want to consider temporary fillers. Although fillers and any sort of plastic surgery aren’t designed to provide patients with happiness or confidence, they certainly can help give your self-esteem the boost that it needs in order to get you feeling like your normal self once again.
Getting fillers isn’t just popular among women— in fact, it’s gaining popularity among the male crowd as well. If you are a male who has been noticing signs of aging that you aren’t ready to face, contact Dr. Larry Weinstein’s office today to schedule a consultation.
