How to Make Lips Even More Kissable
No doubt the special person in your life finds your lips not just kissable but irresistible. However, even if your loved one loves your lips, that doesn’t mean that you do. Maybe you’ve always thought they were too thin, and you’ve always wished for full, luscious lips. Or maybe you aren’t happy with the wrinkles and lines that you’ve noticed around your mouth lately. The good news is that you have a few different options to get the lips you want!
Dermal fillers for amazing lips
Your doctor can help you decide which filler is right for you, and you have a few to choose from:
• Restylane® is one option. It is made of hyaluronic acid, which is a substance found naturally in the body. Restylane injections help to boost collagen production, which helps to restore volume to the skin while also making it look younger and refreshed. Restylane can be used to add volume and fullness to the lips, and it can also be used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the lips.
• RADIESSE® is made of calcium hydroxylapatite, which also stimulates collagen production. It reduces wrinkles and can also add volume to the skin.
• JUVÉDERM® contains hyaluronic acid, and it is used to smooth out wrinkles, such as laugh lines around the mouth.
Besides giving your lips a whole new look, fillers have other benefits as well. They only involve injections – there is no invasive surgery to deal with. The effects can last up to a year, and it is possible that you’ll notice a difference as soon as you leave your doctor’s office. The procedure for dermal fillers is quick – typically it takes less than half an hour – and any possible side effects are usually not serious and go away on their own. And, you may be able to combine the filler you choose with another product such as Botox to get the results you want.
Dermal fillers can help to give you the lips you’ve dreamed of. Contact the Weinstein Plastic Surgery Center to discuss which filler might be right for you. Call the office in Chester, New Jersey, at (908) 879-2222, for an appointment today!

What is a liquid facelift?
If you would like to get rid of some wrinkles and remove saggy facial skin, you may think your only choice is a plastic surgery procedure. You may have your doubts about surgery, but don’t worry – there are other options. A liquid facelift may be the answer for you!
The benefits of a liquid facelift
A liquid facelift is a combination of fillers to tone up sagging skin, add volume where it is needed, and to erase fine lines and wrinkles. Unlike a plastic surgery procedure, a liquid facelift is noninvasive, which means it is less painful, there is less downtime involved, and it costs a lot less.
What fillers are used in a liquid facelift?
You and your doctor will meet to discuss your issues and what you hope to achieve with a liquid facelift. From there, your doctor will suggest the best fillers for your needs. There are many to choose from, including:
• Radiesse, which is used to fill in wrinkles and lines. It is made of microspheres filled with calcium hydroxylapatite, which stimulates the growth of collagen, which makes skin look younger and adds volume.
• Restylane adds volume to the skin, and it can also correct “laugh lines” around the mouth and other wrinkles. It is made up of hyaluronic acid, a substance that is essential to healthy skin.
• Juvéderm is also made up of hyaluronic acid, which helps to keep skin looking young and free of wrinkles.
The fillers used in liquid facelifts are safe and effective – many patients see the benefits of a liquid facelift for up to 2 years. The effects of a liquid facelift are also reversible, if you change your mind. And, most patients report that the procedure to get a liquid facelift is virtually painless, although there may be a bit of swelling or bruising at the injection site afterwards.
A liquid facelift is a great way to get younger-looking, firmer skin without the hassle of a plastic surgery procedure. There are many benefits to a liquid facelift – call the Weinstein Plastic Surgery Center in Chester, New Jersey, to discuss this procedure. Call (908) 879-2222 for an appointment today!

What You Need to Know About Dermal Fillers
It can happen suddenly – one morning you look in the mirror and notice wrinkles and sagging skin that you could swear you didn’t have the night before. It is all a natural part of aging, but that doesn’t mean you have to live with it! Dermal fillers are a quick, noninvasive way to fight aging and make skin look young and refreshed. Here are some dermal filler facts you should know!
- Dermal fillers are a great solution if you have tried over-the-counter face creams and lotions only to find they did nothing to help. Getting a dermal filler is a noninvasive procedure, meaning you don’t have to go through the hassle of plastic surgery and all that comes with it.
- There are different kinds of dermal fillers, and your doctor will suggest one depending on the issues you would like to address. A filler may contain hyaluronic acid, calcium hydroxylapatite, or poly-L-lactic acid, which can help to moisturize the skin or add structure to sagging skin. Fillers can also help to stimulate collagen production, which is important for healthy, youthful skin. Botox is also a popular filler. Made of botulinum toxin A, Botox prevents muscles under the skin from moving, which helps to smooth out wrinkles and even prevent future wrinkles.
- Results from dermal fillers can last for 1 to 2 years, depending on what kind you get.
- People of all ages are getting fillers nowadays. Those under 30 are getting fillers to correct flaws they have and also to try to prevent wrinkles and other signs of aging from forming.
- There is no downtime involved. After you have a dermal filler procedure, you can get right back to your normal activities. However, you should avoid the sun, hot tubs, and saunas for 24 hours after getting your filler.
Another dermal filler fact you should know is that patients love them, and they love how they look after getting them. If you are tired of sagging skin and wrinkles, contact Weinstein Plastic Surgery Center in Chester, New Jersey, for a dermal filler consultation. Call (908) 879-2222 today!

How do cosmetic fillers work to rejuvenate your appearance?
Botox is the most recognizable name when it comes to cosmetic injections, but it’s not effective on all types of wrinkles. While Botox works best on dynamic wrinkles—which are wrinkles that appear in the skin over a contracting muscle—it isn’t effective on static wrinkles. These wrinkles are caused by aging, sun damage and the loss of collagen production in the body. That’s when cosmetic fillers step in and can help patients achieve a more youthful appearance.
Read on to learn more about cosmetic fillers and how they work.
- Cosmetic fillers are injectables that increase volume, enhance contours and temporarily smooth out wrinkles in the skin.
- Cosmetic fillers such as Juvederm, Voluma and Bolotero are made of a gel hyaluronic acid, cartilage-like substance that act like “liquid face lifts.
- Bolotero and Juvederm are used to augment or plump lips.
- Juvederm Plus is ideal for nasolabial folds, which are the indentation lines on both sides of the mouth that extend from the bottom edge of the nose to the outer corners of the mouth.
- Bolotero works well on fine lines and wrinkles.
- Voluma is ideal for filling out the cheeks as it has the highest viscosity gel available.
- You can combine dermal fillers with neurotoxins like Botox to achieve the youthful appearance you desire
- Dermal fillers have also been used in conjunction with cosmetic procedures to further enhance your results.
- Dermal filler appointments take minutes, and you are able to return to your regular schedule once you leave the doctor’s office.
- Side effects are minimal, but may include minor swelling, bruising or redness at the injection site.
- While results vary depending on the type of filler used, you will see immediate results that continue to improve and last anywhere from a few months to 1-2 years.
There are a number of cosmetic fillers that can help you achieve a more youthful, rejuvenated appearance in just a matter of minutes. To learn more, schedule a consultation with Dr. Weinstein by calling (908) 879-2222.

How to smooth out lines and wrinkles in minutes
So often patients believe they have to go under the knife to achieve a rejuvenated appearance. Cosmetic injectables can offer youthful results in minutes with virtually no downtime, and they can be used to maximize surgical results as well. But which one is best to tackle your concerns? Here are the differences between Botox and dermal fillers.
Botox and Dysport
Botox is the most popular non-surgical cosmetic treatment available. It safely and effectively erases fine lines and wrinkles called dynamic wrinkles. These form in the skin when a muscle contracts from making a facial expression such as frowning or smiling. Made of botulinum toxin type A, Botox is injected under the skin to paralyze muscles temporarily and keep them from contracting to form the wrinkle in the skin. The most common areas treated include frown lines, forehead lines, crow’s feet and lip lines. Treatment takes only a few minutes, and full results appear in a few days. As the results are temporary, you will have to return every four months or so to maintain or prolong results.
Fillers
While Botox works on dynamic wrinkles, dermal fillers work magic on static wrinkles. Static wrinkles are wrinkles that are always present and form due to aging and exacerbated by genetics, environment and lifestyle factors. Dermal fillers such as Bolotero, Juvederm and Voluma are made from hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring substance in the body that binds with water molecules to fill wrinkles and softens deep folds. Dermal fillers can be used all over the face and in conjunction with Botox to maximize your youthful appearance and cosmetic goals. Results are immediate. Depending on the type of filler used and area addressed, results are immediate and last for several months to more than a year.
Cosmetic injectables can be used separately or to complement other non-surgical and surgical procedures to give you the youthful appearance you desire. If you’re interested in a consultation to discuss the best treatments to tackle your concerns, call our office today at (908) 879-2222.

3 Benefits of a Liquid Facelift
You may think that in order for you to get a facelift that you have to go under the knife, but Dr. Weinstein has a secret for you: you don’t. With a liquid facelift, Dr. Weinstein can give you a similar look without the surgery. By using a combination of fillers and Botox, Dr. Weinstein will make strategic injections across your face to help you get rid of fine lines and wrinkles, and add more volume to any lax skin. Let’s take a closer look at some of the benefits of this procedure
No Recovery Time
One of the things that deters a lot of patients from a traditional surgical facelift is the fact that they have to spend time recovering. If you live a busy life either raising a family or working, the last thing that you have time to do is lay in bed for a few weeks recovering. With a liquid facelift, there is no real recovery required. The only thing we will ask you to do is not to exercise for 24 hours afterwards so that everything settles just fine.
Real Results
Our patients keep coming back to Botox and fillers for a variety of reasons, but the biggest one is that they give people real results every time. Even though you won’t see the results from Botox for about 3-5 days after your injections, you will see results from your fillers almost immediately.
You Have More Control
The fun thing about a liquid facelift is that Dr. Weinstein can start out small, see how you like it, and then add more fillers as he goes on; that way you have more control over your results. This kind of control, helps our patients feel more confident.
Are you interested in learning more about our liquid facelift? If so, it’s time to schedule a consultation with Dr. Weinstein at our Chester office. Call us today at 908-879-2222.

Why It’s Never Too Late to Get More Youthful Skin with Fillers
If you suffer from fine lines, wrinkles, and a loss of volume in your skin and you want to get back a more youthful look, you may be wondering if it’s too late to do so. Here at Dr. Larry Weinstein’s office, he believes that it’s never too late to feel confident about the skin that you are in. Let’s take a closer look at a few reasons why it’s not too late for you to try facial fillers.
There’s No Need to Wait
One of the biggest things to know about these anti-aging fillers is that there’s no need to wait. Unless you have some allergic reaction to fillers or if you have health issues, there is no better time than now to jump on this bandwagon. In just minutes, Dr. Weinstein will be able to give you a more youthful look.
Fillers Are Affordable
Compared to surgical treatments, facial fillers like Juvéderm, Restylane, and Radiesse are way more affordable. Even though they are temporary and will have to be redone, they last up to a year on average which means that you will only have to pay that amount every year which isn’t that much if you think about it in those terms.
They Can Be Used at Almost Any Age
Whether you are in your twenties or you’re in your sixties, we can use facial fillers to treat a variety of cosmetic concerns. So, if you think you’re too young or if you feel like you’re getting too old for one of these treatments, think again.
Rather than spending the rest of your life wishing for younger skin, let Dr. Weinstein give you results now. To learn more about facial fillers or to schedule your facial filler consultation, contact us at our Chester office and call us today at 908-879-2222.

3 Things You Never Knew About Fillers
Before Kylie Jenner came out in public sporting a new set of lips, you may not have been that familiar with lip fillers. As one of the most popular non- invasive procedures out there, fillers can be used for a variety of different things including adding volume to your lips and cheeks and helping soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. However, unless you’ve had fillers, you may not know much about them. Let’s take a closer look at three things you may not know about fillers.
Location Changes As You Age
As you age, your skin starts to lose collagen and elastin which can lead to sagginess, fine lines, and wrinkles. When this happens, Dr. Larry Weinstein will have to be a little more strategic when injecting fillers into your skin to really help both fill in fine lines and wrinkles and add more volume to certain parts of the skin. So, even though he can inject most 20-year-olds one way, if you are in your 50’s, he will have to use a few different techniques to help give you the best results.
Everybody Is Different
Just like with any procedure that Dr. Larry Weinstein does, it’s important to remember that everybody is different. And because everybody is different, that means that the type of filler we use on you, may not be good to use on your friend. It also means that everyone will get slightly different results including how long your fillers last for; for some patients, their fillers will last an entire year whereas others will need to have touch ups done a lot sooner.
They’re Not the Same As Botox
One thing that you may be surprised to learn is that Botox is not a filler, but it’s an injectable. Fillers work to actually fill in fine lines and wrinkles, whereas Botox works on a deeper level to stop your facial muscles from contracting which helps to soften them in the process.
Now that you know a little bit more about fillers, it’s time to schedule your consultation with Dr. Larry Weinstein at our Chester office today. Call us at 908-879-2222.

Is a Liquid Facelift Actually Worth It?
When you start to notice signs of aging like fine lines, wrinkles, and a loss of collagen and volume in your skin, it can seem like it’s all you think about. And although there are small fixes that we can make, you may want to consider a liquid facelift. But because liquid facelifts are temporary, it has a lot of people wondering if they’re worth it. Let’s take a closer look.
It Doesn’t Require Surgery
A lot of patients choose to undergo a liquid facelift instead of a traditional one because it doesn’t require any surgery or downtime. And, if you live a busy life and have a full schedule, the last thing you have time to do is lay in bed for a couple of weeks. With a liquid facelift, you can come into our office on your lunch break and then go right back to work.
It Works
If it’s results you are looking for, then you can get them with a liquid facelift. Depending on how severe your fine lines and wrinkles are will help us determine just how good of results you will get. But, Dr. Larry Weinstein will ensure that you get the best results possible. Even if it means that you have to come back in for a few touch-ups.
It’s Affordable
Although Botox and fillers aren’t exactly cheap, they are a lot more affordable than a surgical facelift. Plus, depending on how much you get and what types of fillers you get, a liquid facelift can last the upwards of a year which means that you don’t have to spend too much money very often.
Having a more youthful looking complexion doesn’t always require surgery. If you want to learn more about a liquid facelift and whether or not it’s right for you, schedule a consultation with Dr. Larry Weinstein at our Chester office today and call us at 908-879-2222.

Let’s Fill You In On Fillers
When it comes to the world of injections, all of them are created equal, right? Luckily for you, that’s not the case. In fact, there are two main types of injections that we offer here at Dr. Larry Weinstein’s office: neurotoxins (Botox and Dysport) and fillers. Neurotoxins work by temporarily relaxing your facial muscles whereas fillers work by temporarily filling in fine lines and wrinkles. Let’s take a closer look at the three types of fillers that we offer at our office and what they are best used for.
Juvederm, Belotero, and Voluma
These three fillers are made from a substance called hyaluronic acid which is a naturally occurring substance found in the skin. As you age, however, your body produces less hyaluronic acid which contributes to fine lines, wrinkles, and a loss of volume in your skin. With Juvederm, Belotero, and Voluma injections, however, we can help fill in fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth to help reduce wrinkles and soften deep folds. Additionally, Juvederm and Belotero can be used to help add more volume and contour to the lips.
Restylane
Restylane is also made from hyaluronic acid but is mostly used to add more volume to the face— specifically the cheeks. It can also be used, however, to treat fine lines and wrinkles as well.
Radiesse
Unlike the fillers that we have already discussed in this article, Radiesse isn’t made of hyaluronic acid. In fact, it’s made of Calcium Hydroxylapatite. Once it is injected into the skin, it helps restore volume and decrease fine lines and wrinkles. After it has worn off, Radiesse encourages your skin’s natural production of collagen so that it lasts a little longer.
All of these fillers that we offer at our office are a great and temporary way to soften fine lines and wrinkles and add more volume to your face. If you are interested in learning more about dermal fillers, schedule a consultation with Dr. Larry Weinstein at our Chester office today and call: 908-879-2222.
