When it comes to undergoing breast enhancement surgery, nothing can feel quite as exciting as turning your body into something you’ve always wanted. Larger breasts can not only make you feel more confident but help you get the look that you’ve always wanted. And although getting larger and perkier breasts may encourage you to dress a bit sexier, it’s important to remember to maintain appropriate dress codes while at work or in a more conservative setting. Read on to learn more about how you can cater your wardrobe to your new breasts.
Watch for Low-Cut Blouses
Yes, showing a little bit of cleavage might be fun for a weekend night or a day out with friends. However, when in the workplace or somewhere like church, it’s important to dress a little more modestly and not show any cleavage. Although you might be tempted to show off your new assets, remember that there is both a time and place for that, and showing cleavage in the workplace is not appropriate.
Watch for Tight Fitting Clothes
Remember that a shirt that fit you tightly around your chest prior to surgery is going to fit you even more snugly around your chest after surgery. Not only can extremely form fitting clothing be uncomfortable but it can also be inappropriate for the workplace as well. As a suggestion, get rid of your form fitting tops before you have surgery and buy ones that fit a little more conservatively, that way you won’t be tempted to wear them after your surgical procedure.
Get the Right Fitting Bra
In addition to avoiding low-cut blouses and tight fitting tops, it’s also important to purchase a bra that fits you well. For instance, if your breasts are practically falling out of your bra then they will likely be falling out of your shirt which can cause for an uproar in the office. Additionally, if your bra is too small or too sheer, you may be exposing more of your new breasts than you care to share. Go bra shopping around a month after your surgery— once the swelling has died down— in order to get a bra that will fit you comfortably.
Getting breast enhancement surgery can make you look and feel like a new woman. However, it’s important to maintain a professional appearance while in the workplace or in a conservative setting like church. By following the tips above, you shouldn’t have problem.
